CHA prep is kicking my backside, as are the extra workouts I’m logging. I’m doing my first half marathon next week ~ yikes! it’s next week!

I put together a Valentines Day card for the Crafty Power Blog at the SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™ site, here’s a peek. Click on over to see the whole post.

Christmas Card

Sharing 2 cards today that I made for a Christmas card swap.

Christmas Cards by Beth PingryI made the cards with Spellbinders™ die templates, the cone is Nested Lacey Pennants, the flower is Layered Poinsettia, and the tags are from Fancy Tags One and Grommet Tags.  I used a variety of papers, it was a great opportunity to dig deep into my stash and find some patterned I wouldn’t have otherwise used. I should do this more often it’s like shopping without spending money!

I sprayed the reds with Candy Apple Red Glimmer Mist to unify the tones and give the flowers a bit of sparkle.  The stamp Joyeux Noel is from JustRite Stampers. The Nested Lacey Pennants have the lacey part folded in, and I curled the entire piece in my hands to make them seem more rounded. I applied SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™ Crafty Foam Tape to the center of the cone, and E-Z Squares® to the lacey edges. 3D Foam Squares hold the tags in place.

I’m off to do more Christmas shopping! I have both trees up, but only the vintage tree has been decorated. It’s hard to pin down a time when everyone is home and awake at the same time to decorate and take pictures!

Wishing you a wonderful holiday season!
