Living with the hubs and 2 boys influences my crafting in that I tend to gravitate to deeper, darker, more saturated colors. I just don’t have a lot of applications for pastels. I am thrilled to work with the Websters Pages Game On kit!
We go to A LOT of baseball games, so I scrapped a few pictures of a Chicago Cubs game. We always get there early to watch batting practice, get autographs and walk around (hence the empty seats in the background).
I used layers of 3D Foam Squares to make the street signs more dimensional, you can see how I did it on the full post on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L™ blog.
I used these supplies:

Have you done your Fathers Day shopping? Need a last minute gift bag update? Check out my post at Spellbinders™ today. Now I have this nice bag, but need to do some shopping!
I’ve been catching up with work stuff, design stuff and the never ending supply of laundry. We got back from vacation a week ago, the Baseball Trip 2010, which included the fine cities of Houston and Dallas Arlington, Texas. Having baseball freaks for kids and a husband gives me the opportunity to attend a game or 2 in every MLB park! We’ve got 10 left, I think.
So grab a snack and enjoy a few highlights of the trip:
Tip #1 – Hand over the camera to a responsible photographer.
Tip #2 Those games are long, stay hydrated and relax.
Tip #3 Visit the local highlights. That’s a moon rock we’re touching!
Tip #4 Forget shopping when on vacation with males. It was all sports, all the time. That’s OK, I made up for it when I got home!
And I’m off for more baseball today!
Good Golly, I’ve been MIA! Well, not really. I spent last Wednesday through Sunday at CHA with Spellbinders. We had a great show, and I met lots of wonderful store owners and artists that had to see all the new products and all the Sneak Peek artwork.
I was able to drive back home last Thursday night to attend Spunky’s Championship baseball game, his 8th place team played the first place team. The game was close, but Spunky’s team lost in extra innings by one run. All in all, a great season with great coaches and great kids and supportive parents. I can’t ask for more!
Nothing soothes the soul like a trophy and a Krispy Kreme after a tough loss.
Since getting home from CHA late Sunday I’ve been catching up on sleep, and trying to find the kitchen counter tops and the laundry room floor. It seems trolls broke into the house, unbeknown to DH, Sparky, Spunky and Cindy, and ransacked the place pretty good. This has happened before, and I’m sure its the same band of trolls as the last time.
I’ll have more art up, and more Cindy stories soon!
