Today I have a Spring themed bird house to share. I made this for the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L blog, and have lots of photos here.
Here are some shots from the sides and top – the roof is Creative Photo Corners! Here is a close up of the sides:
I used these supplies:
- Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®: 3D Foam Garden Shapes, 3D Foam Butterflies, Crafty Power Tape, 3D Foam Squares White Small, Creative Photo Corners White
- Graphic 45: Botanical Tea collection

Good Morning! I posted yesterday on the A Jillian Vance Design blog with this sweet and super easy card –
I posted instructions for it at Memories Card – Please click over and check it out. I used the Charming Photos stamp and die set (given to me for DT work) and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L (3D Foam Frames, Creative Photo Corners Ivory, E-Z Runner Permanent Strips Refillable), Graphic 45, Ranger Ink, & Clearsnap.
Thanks for looking!
Good Saturday Morning! Just sharing a card I have on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog today.
That’s embossing powder on the heart, just peel off the paper liner, sprinkle embossing powder and heat. The high density foam holds up to heat beautifully. We call this “Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside” meaning you don’t hide the adhesive between the layers of your project, you use it as an embellishment. Fun stuff!!

Happy Wednesday everyone! A quick note today – I’m up on the Crafty Power Blog with 2 Graphic 45 cards. Comments at Graphic 45’s blog and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® enter you into the prize drawings.
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
I’m bringing out some previously unblogged projects. This one is from CHA Summer 2011, featuring Graphic 45′s Once Upon a Springtime papers. The frame around the focal image was made with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Ivory Photo Corners, the flower by Prima Marketing Flowers, and the die from Spellbinders Edgeabilities.
Some people find the Graphic 45 paper intimidating, with the larger images, but I have found them fun to work with, they pretty much eliminate the need for stamps or other embellishments because you can use so much of the paper.
In this case, I trimmed the image then created a mat that was about 3/4 inch larger than the image on 2 sides, then layered photo corners along the edge and in the corners. The rest is layering of papers. The green ribbon is a piece from the remnant bin (love those!)

I have some big news! I am the new Design Team Coordinator for SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™! I started Oct. 1, its been fun and busy! I have a chance to use what I know to help build another business. I still work for Spellbinders, so it’s been a bit busy here as I adjust to the added responsibilities.
So this week I have posted 3 projects to the blog there, for the Graphic 45 blog hop we’re doing, by way of trading, covering a post, and then covering for another post. Crazy! I need to create more and have some projects in my back pocket just in case…
Anyway, go to both SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L Blog and Graphic 45 Blog to see the fabulous stuff and leave comments there to win prizes.
Here’s a shot of today’s project, (click the image) for more details and comment there to win (and scroll back to see the other posts this week too!):
Just a quick post and picture today. I’m featured on the SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L blog today with this project using vintage spools.
Head on over to the SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L Blog for the details on this project, and then the Graphic 45 Blog. Just by leaving a comment on each of those blogs you will be entered into drawings for prizes from each company!!
