Christmas Gift Bag Toppers

Welcome everyone!  I’m getting ready for the holidays!

I made these gift bag toppers over the weekend.  They’re  fun, festive and quick to make with JustRite® Stampers and Spellbinders™ dies!

I stamped with the JustRite Stampers sets and heat embossed the designs.  I used gel pens to color inside some of the lines to add a pop of color.  The center of the stamp allows room to stamp a greeting or write a name.

Once the ink was dry I die cut and embossed the images with Spellbinders 2010 Heirloom Ornament and 2011 Heirloom Ornament dies.  I attached the ornament shapes onto clothes pins with SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™ Crafty Power Tape.  Tie ribbon above the ornament, add a spot of bling and they’re done!  Just clip to a gift bag!

Christmastime with Cindy

Christmas is a special time for children and Bull Terriers.  Remember last Christmas, stealing the stockings

This year she hasn’t paid any attention to them.

But she loves the tree.  She was so excited to get the tree out and had to sniff every last branch as we put it up.  Everyone should have such an enthusiastic helper!

Here she’s doing the slow walk under the tree, she is meserized. Her ears go back, she walks very slowly, placing one foot at a time.

I wonder what happened to the “old” baskitball(s)?

I have been crazy busy with a huge project, and I’m working on a self hosted site as well.  And someone needs to do some shopping, as you can see, there’s not much under the tree!

Thanks for stopping by!

Deck the Halls!

Last year we inherited Christmas Ornaments from my FIL, as he was getting the house ready for sale.  I love ornaments, and I knew the box was full of treasures.  Add those to the ornaments I already had from my grandparents, and I had enough to fill another tree!  That justified, I ran off to Target to get one.

This tree is in the front hall, and as long as Cindy doesn’t brush by it too fast or hard, and I attach  the ornaments instead of just hanging them, everything will be safe.  I wanted a skinny and tall one, because there just isn’t a lot of space, but unlimited height.  But I didn’t want to spend a fortune, so I ended up with a skinny 8 footer.  I will post a finished photo, somehow I never got around to taking one last year…despite the fact that the tree was up until almost March!

So here is the page, all the deets are on Spellbinders Blog:
