I am way behind on Cindy stories, so here’s a scrapbook page I did for SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY ™ blog today – I have close-ups of the page there.
The Easter Bunny doesn’t come until next week, but I’m sure she’s ready for some treats now.
(supplies used: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L™: ™ 3D, ™ Permanent Strips; Imaginisce: Hippity Hop Collection – papers, stickers, die cuts; Cardstock: Turquoise and white )
We have had some amazing weather recently, sunny and summer-like, and there’s nothing she loves more than fair weather! She’s a great help with spring yard cleanup…
And she has a lot of energy. Specifically she’d like someone to come out and play with her every 37.5 seconds. She scratches and barks at the door. When I go to let her in, I get this:
I go back to work, clearly she doesn’t want in.
Lather, rinse, repeat…
This is her game face, she’s challenging me to get some shoes on…
Sometimes I bribe her, she loves peanut butter and we’ve recently discovered that cream cheese is a little taste of heaven…
And after a nice treat she takes a little nap – this is the desk in the kitchen, her favorite warm weather spot.
She pushes the chair away and makes herself comfortable. That paw in the air – it’s a bull terrier thing. They have such wide shoulders that the paw usually doesn’t touch the ground when they’re laying on their sides.
Happy Cindy Sunday!
Christmas is a special time for children and Bull Terriers. Remember last Christmas, stealing the stockings?
This year she hasn’t paid any attention to them.
But she loves the tree. She was so excited to get the tree out and had to sniff every last branch as we put it up. Everyone should have such an enthusiastic helper!
Here she’s doing the slow walk under the tree, she is meserized. Her ears go back, she walks very slowly, placing one foot at a time.
I wonder what happened to the “old” baskitball(s)?
I have been crazy busy with a huge project, and I’m working on a self hosted site as well. And someone needs to do some shopping, as you can see, there’s not much under the tree!
Thanks for stopping by!
Cindy’s birthday/anniversary of being rescued from the puppy mill was this week. She got a new orange squishy ball (its minty flavored, or so the package said) and a new red ball that we can put treats in. She’s already tested it with peanut butter and given it 2 paws up.
Instead of cake she received treats from the doggy bakery.
I’ve been working on all kinds of projects, just can’t show you yet. Look out for some blog hops and other fun stuff in the near future!
Just a quick note to say Come on Back on Friday! I’m participating in a blog hop and I’m super excited about it!
I also just registered for 2 workshops at the CREATE with Cloth Paper Scissors event in August. One of my newer goals is to take some classes to keep the mojo flowing. Cheryl Darrow is teaching one of the workshops. Maybe now I’ll take out those Ten Seconds tools and make something cool.
When I have the time to play with new things, I don’t have the energy.
And when I have the energy to play, I don’t have the time.
Have a great day, and see you back here on Friday!
For all of you that think the Grinch stole Christmas, I present this evidence:
“I not doin’ nuthin’ Momma. I’s jus lookin’ at the stockings”
“Dis one looks nice”
“Dis one looks nice too”
“Santa, he’s my favorite!”
“Momma, why you put da Santa up? I like him..hey, dere’s da Pooh Bear too!”
Need I say more?
Despite her poor manners, Santa came through and brought Cindy a new Nylabone.
I hope you had a wonderful Holiday Season!
Happy New Year!
and welcome to my new blog address!
