True Friendship card with Perfect Layers ~ Blog Hop

Today I have a card I put together last night in a jiffy. It’s for a blog hop with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® and Perfect Paper Crafting! If you’re here from the Crafty Power Blog, welcome!

The layers are so easy to make just by lining up the clear rulers! The videos on their website are easy to understand. I used E-Z Dots® Permanent Refillable adhesives to hold the layers together.

BethPIngry-TrueFriendship-2I hand trimmed the butterflies from the Jillibean Soup papers and adhered them with 3D Foam Squares, and finished the top layer with Photo Corners. I stamped the sentiment to complete the card and it’s ready to go!

Tip – use a new, sharp blade in your craft knife! Work on a cutting mat!

The Kindness You Share Cards

A super quick post this morning, the details on these cards are on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® Crafty Power Blog~

Kindness Cards by Beth Pingry

Yes, they are fairly simple, which made it easy to make 18 of them in one evening, now I have enough to send and give as gifts!

Happy May, it looks like the weather has finally cooperated with the calendar! I’m gearing up for another half marathon on the 19th, with a plan to set another PR, or at least crush my time from last year on this one.

Thanks for stopping by!

Here’s my card for today. This was a challenge in that I’m not used to working with these types of stamps, they’re ‘open’ and to me, they require some extra work, or at least thinking. I suppose you could say they allow for more creativity.
The front of the card was easy enough – Beth Pingry Lawn Fawn Card Front

I was initially drawn to the mailbox stamp in this set and I really wanted to use it here, but it is smaller than the postcard and I couldn’t get both to work together in my little brain. It begged for a scene, so I created a pop up on the inside.
