Happy New Year and welcome to the Season’s Givings Blog Hop! Thanks for stopping by today!
I have a quick and fun card to share, oh yes, and a giveaway too!

I recently bought this stamp set from Unity Stamps and thought this one was perfect for New Year’s Day.
As far as resolutions…well, I did the seemingly impossible last year – I ran a marathon! Yeah, 26.2 miles {actually by the time I turned off my Garmin it was at 26.7} so I’m not really looking to over-achieve in 2014. But I promise to fill up a prize box with fun stuff from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L (where I am DT Coordinator and I could be the only person with too much adhesive!) and maybe a few other goodies!
You’ll notice I used Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L’s Creative Photo Corners, 3D Foam Stars, 3D Foam Squares and E-Z Squares on this card, along with Jillibean Soup paper & stickers, Unity Stamp, Clearsnap Ink & Glitter, and Ranger Ink embossing powder.
Quick tutorial: Stamp the sentiment onto green cardstock with white ink, add white embossing powder and heat emboss. Trim cardstock around the sentiment, mount onto kraft cardstock. Add White Photo Corners, than adhere to card with 3D Foam Squares (I positioned them so they hold the photo corners onto the card, since the photo corners won’t be making contact with the card). Trim polka dot paper to 4 x 5 1/4″. Trim chevron paper to about 4 x 3/4″, adhere to polka dot paper, wrap with twine. Tie the twine in a simple knot. With a 3D Foam Star, remove the top layer to reveal adhesive side, cover with glitter. Place 3D Foam Star on top of knot.
Add stickers above the chevron paper, add more photo corners, and adhere to kraft card front, cut to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2″.

Now for the details – Please comment here to enter! I will select a winner on January 6. I am sorry, but I can only ship to the US, due to the cost of international postage.
